Are you preparing questions on Delegation?

I got 3 questions on delegation. It is observed that at least 2 questions on delegation are now appearing in every PMP exam. PMBOK does not mention anything about this but you better prepare for delegation questions, who knows this could make or break your final score card. I will put few questions on this in coming days. Meanwhile you can read some of the articles collected from net.

  3. Another common mistake is to outsource the most unpleasant and dirty work to the others. Penelope Trunk says that if you don’t do any of the crap work, your team will think you do nothing and you won’t be accepted as a part of the team. You must keep for youself only those tasks that are your specialty and to delegate all the other tasks to the people who can do them best.

  6. During my PMP exam preparation when I studied the conflict resolution techniques in a few PMP exam reference books and in the PMBOK Guide, I observed a discrepancy. All reference books were suggesting that confronting is the best conflict resolution technique, and a project manager should use it in all cases. However, the PMBOK Guide (fourth edition) seems to recommending the collaborative technique.I looked at the PMBOK Guide (fourth edition) again and again, but I never saw the PMBOK supporting their statement, although it appeared to encourage the collaborative technique to resolve conflicts.I have researched various articles you can view this link for more detailed information http://goo.gl/VvtX1s
